She sat crouched against the corner of the wall, Her dark wings didn't move at all, She wraped herself in his guilt, As she cried upon that given quilt,
Broken and bruised by his strong harsh words, His anger flowed upon her like starttled birds, She took his words to heart, for she loved him so, As she pondered slitting her wrists and letting the blood flow.
He sat at the bar, proud as could be, Telling the story to all that he could see, Sitting there drinking and laughing to his friends, As one man sat in a dark corner, pondering his end,
Laughing and bragging of his "girlfriends" useless ways, His friends all gathered round and gave him praise, While all along that silent man sat, With anger growing through his hearts growing wrath.
She sit there on the floor, with a knife in her hand, Thinking shes worthless, about to give in to his demands, He told her she was nothing, she would be better of dead, And the thought of her "loves" words sank deep into her head,
The phone suddenly wrang, and she hesitated stuck, Until she finally gave in, and she picked it up, Was not that same voice, that ran her heart through, But a softer, more quiet voice, a voice that she knew,
"I can't talk to much, because I've done something wrong, I'll talk to you quick, because i don't have very long, I want you to know, you mean the world to me, I've always loved you, but you never did see."
A siren sound rings over the other end of the phone, The mans voice became frightened, as if he was not alone, They sirens they came closer and closer, she could hear, His voice rang out to her, as it was trembeling in fear,
"I'm sorry i did it, i just kind of snapped, YOu see your friend was in the bar, and he spoke of what he did, And so in the shadows i waited, and i hid, And when he came out, i did all i could do, I stabbed him to death, because I love you."
Closer the sirens came, and they screatched to a hault, She cried on the phone, thinking it was her fault, She heard a gun click, and some men yelling in the back, She stood unaware of what love the man had,
"You won't hurt anymore dear, because that monster is gone, Please don't cry, you will get perfectly along, I'm sorry i have to go, but just know, and i have to say, I've loved you, my dear, since the very first day."
With that she heard the phone drop and smash on the floor, All the cops in the background yelling some more, She streamed tears of grief and sadness and hate, For what her "Boyfriend" had done to her she finally could relate,
Yelling from cops and people, "Drop the gun." She listened the entire time and they another yell, "I'll always love you Annabell!" With those last words, she heard a solitary shot, and knew he was gone, but not forgot.
He had loved in shadow, without a word, being her friend, being her watch bird, Never saying anything about her abusive boyfriend, Until he had hurt her, and both their lives he did end,
Love is the most powefull emotion, It's stronger than hate or any other notion, We live for love, and nothing more, There's always someone out there, who has love for you in store,
So wrap each other tightly, within each others embrace, make the world a better place, Share your heart, and protect the weak, For if we don't, this worlds future is Bleak.
