Frozen still and uknowingly shaking
not a demon or spirit is up for the taking
leaves of old are all its reflection
in the depths of the water there in lies perfection


not a blade can pierce nor can a flame burn
and if you like ice then you'll live and you'll learn
the evilest pond takes absolutely no swimmers
skate if you please but the ice will grow thinner

you may fall and you also may not
i may skate over you while laughing non stop
but thats how it goes with the darkest pond
colder than the emptiness that lies way beyond
