I thought about quitting Gaia because it started to slow down.. Fortunately, I changed my mind because I didn't think I could break my Gaia habit. lol That's never good to have a bad online habit. I do realize that not many guys RP anymore and that majority of the girls who go to forums to look for an RP tend to say "PM me to RP" which many times defeats the purpose of the Roleplaying forums, no?
Then, many times the Roleplaying can get out of hand when it comes to the Romance Roleplays because we can't control our hormones. I mean it's different if it follows the plot of the story line, but when it's just an overly 'excited' person looking for a 'good time'... Unnecesary.
I honest do like to Roleplay, but now a days it's about sex!
Then there are the overly literate people.. Yes, there is such a thing as being overly Literate. When I say this I mean the people who type of a chapter as their opening leving not much room to fit your insert in. I've tried to Roleplay with these kinds of people, but when they fill in your actions, your description, your life, your everything, then, it's a bit too difficult to throw in your own twist. So, if you can't be super creative then, they are not the people you want to Roleplay with, trust me.
Then, there are the Roleplaying whores. If your character looks like she/he just stepped out of the Slut Weekly, then there is a chance someone with either the same or different intentions will answer your call.. I can understand if your character may have some not so 'normal' features--busty, skimpy, etc-- and it fits in with the Roleplay, but when it's a girl with breasts the size of watermelons on meth... Then there's something wrong... Also, when you add in a sexual description:
"She walked in the bar, her breasts huge and almost popping out of her tight half-buttoned shirt and her red thong showing when she walked..."
Then, you are asking for something..
