It took me some time, but now I am strong.
You never disappoint yourself. Sure, maybe you didn't meet a goal you set for yourself or did something you now regret, but in order to let others forgive you, the first step is forgiving youself. But, you can't really disappoint youself. When you make a mistake, you live with it, you learn from it. When others disappoint you, it becomes harder to take them seriously. Why wouldn't you take yourself seriously? Atleast when your forgiving youself you know you mean it. Someone could easily not be genuine and once again disappoint you.
I think that forgiveness is one of the best qualities a person can have, and for someone to genuinly forgive is rare.
For the people that have the ability to forgive, learn when to say enough is enough.
It's a terrible thing for people to take advantage of you, and especially terrible to let them.
