From the moment of my awekening, the sky was a mesmerizing shroud of grey.
I awoke alone in my room, with no sound audible.
My breathing, nothing but a whisper in the silence.
I was alone, to my fierce delight.
I watched the day laze by, oblivious to the illusion humans call time.
I merely brooded about my existence and that of other humans as well.
For what reason have we been put on this useless rock?
For what reason must we all feel such pitful and meanigless emotions?
For what reason must we live?
Such strange things I contemplated deeply.
Come sunset, the outside world was that of a surreal twilight.
It was immaculate.
The cold air ensued and stood still in space.
The amber and golden leaves of dying trees glowed with a transluscense of sorts.
The air, clensed by rain, brased my nostrils with a crisp scent of purity.
How I wish a majority of the days I live are like that of today...
Ah, longing.
One of my preferred human emotions.
Along with meloncholy, resent, and temptation.
Such wonderful emotions a mortal can feel.

My Requiem
Oh... I just write some complaints and comments I have about my daily life... I also write a few - what I like to call - short poems.

~ Darkness and Light ~
I've fallen from the Light and into the Darkness.
I've risen from the Darkness but not completely into the Light.
I stand where the Darkness and Light kiss...
I stand in Oblivion.
