They tried to stop me
from being myself like everybody else,
tryin to be themself.
But they cant,
they tried to take me away from this place
but its cramped, nobody can move, to the groove
comin from the speakers of the room.
this is slow, i aint up for this show.
i didnt buy tickets so skip it.
i dont wanna be here.
i got a family to care for,
a mama to love,
a sister to hug,
a college to go to.
so leave me be bro, i aint up for this show.
i gotta go home, go home to my family
i dont wanna be here for the rest of the year.

they took me from my home.
they think they got all the power, they'll be back in an hour.
im tied up to this chair.
all day screamin and yellin while they pullin my hair.
now its over, time to escape.
just hold on a minute while i pull on my cape.
time to go.
like i said before bro, i aint up for this show.

why they treat me so wrong?
but that dont matter right now, they can find me.
i took all they dollars and dimsey.
call a cab, lets get out of this place,
here they come.
they runnin after me,
with a gun!
gotta go, to late, now im in the show.
so im runnin and runnin
in gettin out of breath,
they catchin up to me now, with every single step
now im gone
goin faster and faster till i reach the pasture.
then i go inside,
quick, i gotta hide!
here they come.
they came in the same way i did.
they look around,
they dont see me, but they know im sneaky.
so they look

but they dont find me.
so they leace.
nothin the same without me.
it gets worse.
like stealin someones purse.
except now, its like stealing a child.
and treatin them the dame way that they treated me
so you see how it has to be.
call the cops they might beleive me,
then im gone, time to go back to my sister and mom,
so im gone, time to go.
