In the beginning was Chaos, and Chaos was everything. Understand that this Chaos is no mere disorder, it was far greater and grander than that. This Chaos was everything existing in potential form, though there was no form.

From Chaos came Mind.

Mind could not understand Chaos. For an Eternity of Timeless Time mind struggled to understand Chaos. A struggle doomed to failure, for Mind was limited and that which is limited may never understand that which is limitless.

One day that was not a day mind discovered and created Will. Mind learned Will could create things from Chaos. Will could Create Form, Form could be understood. And so from Will was born Order.

Together Mind and Will could create Order, but the slightest distraction would allow the Forms of Order to return into the Chaos out of which All was born. Mind and Will eventually decided to create other Minds and Wills. Though these Minds and Wills were not as strong as the original Mind and Will they were able to create small pockets of Order.

These pockets of Order were small, and Will began to despair of Order ever being truly established. Yet Mind noticed that these lesser minds and wills were joined, that working together they could establish and maintain greater pockets of Order. So Mind and Will began working together to create the minds and wills that would, they hoped, one day replace Chaos with Order.

But Chaos is Invincible, for only with the application of Will is Order Maintained. Since no Mind can have perfect and unwavering Will Chaos inevitably returns.

And each Mind seeks it's own Order, and uses its Will to shape Order in a different direction. Chaos inevitably returns.

Some Minds are born of Order, and use their Wills to strengthen Order.
Other Minds are born of Chaos, do not trust Order and lend not their Wills to maintain it. Chaos, Inevitably, Returns.
