A vivid memory from my childhood was when I was learning how to ride my bike. My mom, my dad, and I were all there. It was around noon on Saturday. I was getting ready to learn how to ride in my driveway.
I really wanted to learn how to ride my bike, so my dad took off my training wheels. I eagerly got on the seat of my bike. My mom started pushing my bike. At first she was pushing it slowly, but then the bike quickly picked up speed.
Then I started to pedal furiously. My mom let go of my bike and I kept pedaling. That was when I almost crashed into a pole at full speed. I managed to swerve out of the way in time and barely missed it. It took me a few tries to get it, but I finally learned.
Every time I messed up I would stop and then start pedaling again. I kept riding until I got to the end of my street. When I finally got to the end of my street, I came to a complete stop and then turned around and rode back home.
As a result of this experience I have learned a few useful things. I learned how to ride my bike. I can now ride with my friends all around my neighborhood. Although I was scared to ride my bike by myself, I can now ride and not be scared to crash.
