In truth, the practice of the Goddessian faith is extremely positive, life-affirming, and varied spirituality with a thousand and one different ways to interpret the Goddess and her divinity/love/acts/mysteries/etc. The feeling that comes over you when you reach out for the Mother(mom) is immeasurable; compassion, safety, love, understanding, comfort, warmth, everything that can be good and is good, all wrapped around you like a safety blanket. It is something that I have been searching for since my childhood and I finally feel secure and a sense of 'rightness' as I lift my eyes and let a silent prayer past my lips, knowing that Mom is listening. She's watching and protecting and that, I know for sure.
