Things NOT to do while fishing

1. jump in the water
2. fish while people are in the water nearby
3. eat the bait
4. use your clothes to wipe your hands with
5. leave your rod unattended (whoops, there goes my $500 fishing rod)
6. try to land a shark, ray, or skate with your bare hands (ouch!)
7. try to unhook a large or sharp toothed fish without pliers
8. kicking fish back into the water (shoes and toes punctured, then ER)
9. try to catch fish with a net (unless its bait or you have a cast net)
10. forget to tie a proper knot
11. toss things into the water
12. try to handle crabs without thinking
13. forget to unhook a fish before releasing it
14. leave your line tangled
15. fish without a liscense
16. fish around or with idiots
17. use freshwater tackle in saltwater areas (rust and corrosion)
18. try to catch bait with a size 4 or larger hook (not gonna happen)
19. forget to use a leader for bigger fish or fish with sharp teeth
20. let your reel get dirt and sand in it (bad mistake, no more reel)
21. try to catch a big fish without a gaff or landing tackle (can't always beach a big fish)
