Well, actually it's still sort of a cosplay, in the sence that this is based off a design for a Bleach RP character of mine... maybe I'll get around to posting her story here or actually using her in an RP guild, but no promises at this time.
I probably will use this as my avi after some cosplaying though. Unless I get nostalgic for my real-life red-hair-and-ponytail. (I sort of doubt it though... xp )
Anywho... here she is just in her usual shinigami uniform;
I know it's not the 'official' shinigami uniform, but there's a good explanation behind that; she's a hardcore close-combat fighter. And not just Soifon style, but also focusing largely on kicks and such. So, the big baggy pants would've gotten in the way.
Also comes with the Enchanted book grey cat that's actually part of the character's backstory. (Of course, were I to use this as a regular avi I would have to add s**t to it and mess with it fairly frequently. ^^ )

So, here's her current Bankai look;
The double-hand curved blades are also her Shikai, that she uses more frequently than the regular zanpaku-to katana. It's the flames, the scarf, and the ankle blades that are the true essence of her Bankai (of course, the flames and the animal are what actually do the damage other than her just plain pwning face).
She learns her Shikai fairly early on, but it takes a really long time for her to master her Bankai.
