Final hour
youth and beauty's sliped away,
Living my life day by day,
Sprialing down to my final hour,
The taste of love has now turned sour,
And you can see age in my face,
Though my heart's in it's rightful palce,
And i can hear the youngster's say,
My youth and beauty slipped away.
Take no pity on my soul,
It's all a part of growing old,
All apart of life, you see,
It's rich enternal, tapestry,
I've seen some thing's, i cant' complain,
And, with the chance to live again,
I'd let the same life tales unfold,
So take no pity on my soul.
Now the veil is comming down,
Time to leave this mortal ground,
once quick fingers, gnarled and worn,
Grasped at memories, ripped and torn,
Ghostly colour, lost it's tone,
Lying here with gasping moans,
One last wrench brings final frown,
And now the veil is comming down.
