Just because I’ve been a gaian member for almost three years dose not make me a rich gaian. I just happen to remember how Gaia used to be. When I started, Gaia was almost at its second year running, I was informed by a friend who introduced me to the site. Normally when Gaia has an anniversary, older gaians (even me) like to talk about when they remember something just came out, or find who has been on Gaia the longest. Usually they’ll start a phrase like this “I remember when Gaia…”
I remember Gaia when:

~The first storyline was when Gambino searching for his son on Christmas eve (which is now in Gambino’s Journal)
~Ian was blonde, still working, and Rufus was lying next to the cash reregister asleep.
~Store items were on shelves
~Gambino’s mansion was ridiculously tall due to being mad with power
~People favored Gambino more than the Helsons (like more than 50% )

~You didn’t have the ability to have different word bubbles, show items/friends, random dice rolls on forums.
~You didn’t have a box around rare items while floating on your page
~There were no clothing sets when being a noob, you only had peasant clothes (girls got a dress while guys got a shirt and pants)
~Rare items only came in pink or blue boxes and golden trunks
~Golden trunks didn’t contain only housing items
~Some of the first collectables were sold around an average of 3k in market
~You could sell rare items in Ian’s store for gold (emperor’s eyebrows were actually worth 4k!)
