Dear Journal,
Today was much more bearable than yesterday. It wasn't has hot. I actually enjoyed tennis...for the most part. We're having this doubles tournament, and our second game lasted FOREVER, because my teammate was being obnoxious and kept swinging at every ball that came near her, even though we were just passing it to her so she could serve. That, and the fact that none of us were very good at overhand serving. 75% of the time, my ball would either hit the net, or land outside the service box. In the end...we lost.
Aside from that, the day was much better than yesterday, or the day before. Except yesterday, when my friend saw ALBERT at the bike racks, she said, "Oh, look, it's your boyfriend!" He is so NOT my boyfriend, just this nerd who has a crush on me or something...or so my friends say. I got mad and started wacking my friend with my tennis racket.
Can you believe that I have summer homework? CHINESE school summer homework, in fact! I have to copy like 32 paragraphs, voice record 32 story passages, and listen to 32 story passages on the Chinese CD-ROM program and write down the "code" and answer questions. So far I've finished the writing, and I've voice recorded one passage. Ugh, I'm never gonna finish.
