I write to you today a hurt man... Exactly 30 minutes ago, I said my farewell to my beloved Alecia. I must say I'm surprised as to how well I managed to suppress my tears. There were so many things that were said at that moment, and yet none of it was spoken. It was all done through action and our eyes. I had said "I love you so much, and I will miss you... And most of all, I wish you weren't leaving..." All of that in the space of a minute with mere looks and touch. She is now waiting quite bored in the gate, waiting to be boarded onto her flight to Texas, and I hope it is a very safe flight, and that she arrives alive and well....... It's not often that I go through this, but unfortunately it is necessary, if only for a time... I harden my heart and make it nigh impervious to emotion... To love... Only one woman right now will ever be able to make me say "I love you...", let alone feel it... As hurt and pained as I was to see leave her at the security checkpoint, by the time I got home, I was somber, and for all intents and purposes, emotionless, akin to the Tetragrammaton in Equilibrium. All is not lost, however... I have my friends and family, and then Alecia once she gets to her dads. Suffice it so say, eventually, I will be able to talk to my friends as often as I want, which is some measure of comfort. I ask anyone else who reads this, and furthermore is a friend of mine, to know that though I may not show it, I do appreciate all the kind things you will/would say to me. My one wish, right now, is to hold her and kiss her again. That is all that I could ask for... That is all I really want right now.
