Being Thrown off a Horse
I've thought about it and decided to do a journal again. Well, I'm not sure what to talk about first so I'll start with what happened yesturday. Well, it was my step-dads b-day so we decided to go horse-back riding (Only me and my brother enjoyed it). Then in the middle, we think my moms horse got stung by a hornet. Well anyways her horse freaked out and started galloping away which then started a chain reaction. My step-dads horse freaks, then my horse, then the horse behine me. But I was only one thrown off, and the only thing that went through my mind was 'not again'. You see even though I was pulling on the reins really hard I either had a choice, I could get to the ground as fast as I could and roll away or I could let the horse buck-me-off really hard which would have cause a broken arm. I'm find, I just have a little scratch below my right eye and a long cut on my left side. So this won't take me away from helping my friend move into her dorm room or stop me from going on a rode-trip to Portland, Oregan and then another one to Whitworth, Washington State, and Central. As I've realized today, I've got until the end of Nov begining Dec to decided if I want to continue to go to college. I think on my next post I will talk about my 7 day adventure kayaing down the Owyee River in Rome, Oregan with three other girls and sixteen guys.
