Ugh. I think I've decided that one of the things I hate most is when you buy something from the store and it doesn't work. I bought a DVD and I was watching it, but it kept skipping, so I looked and a part of it was scratched to hell. The worst bit was that I was like halfway through the movie, so I don't get to know what happens until I exchange the DVD at the store (and they had better allow that, it was deffective), and it was such a good movie. If anyone is curious, it was Howl's Moving Castle.
