I've been a member of Gaia for a little while now and I've never had any problems with people trying to hack or beg from me, but in the past two days I've gotten beaucoup pm's from random people trying to do just that. Example: "Will you give me 10, 000 gold? crying " Bwahaha... too funny. Granted all this pretty garbage on Gaia really doesn't exist, but I work hard for it (bumping, commenting, etc.) and I certainly NEVER beg so I would want to donate to a complete stranger why? It's different if it's a friend (I love helping friends with quests), but just picking somebody out of a forum?? I guess I have to give the person credit; that takes guts.

Or even better, "Hey, I'm leaving Gaia. Give me your password and I'll trade you stuff!" Wow, do people really fall for that one? rolleyes

It's a little upsetting to say the least. Why me? I'm not extremely active on Gaia with loads of friends or enemies... I dunno... maybe it's because I bump in the public forums and people see my avatar is semi-decent.

Perhaps it's time to get out the starter clothes again, but damn it, I made God knows how many bump posts to get this crap. I shouldn't have to hide it.
