The sky darkend and thunder rumbled louder as the girl ran further into the woods. He had lied to her again. It was always this way. He continued to break his promises. She felt a wet slash against her cheek and she looked up into the now falling rain as it slashed softly onto the ground around her. Soon her tears blended in with the rain. She came to the edge. The edge of her world and the one he disappered to. She saw him there. Standing in the rain like her. She streached out her hand and reached for him, slowly walking forward. He smiled saddly and streached his hand out to. There was something there between them and their hands froze in the air inches apart. She fell to her knees, she body shaking from her sobs. This is why he broke them. All the promises he made her. He couldn't come back. They were so close yet so very far away from each other. She stood up and leanded against the barrier and smiled at him. "I love you..." She wispered, not knowing if he could even hear her. He smiled again and put his hand in front of her face, "I love you too..." They stood there like that, the only witnesses to their lost love was the rain, the soon to would disapper and forget of their love and them, a lost couple in this lost world.
