Currently my favorite anime is one called "Death Note". It is about a guy named Light (oddly enough) who finds this notebook (the Death Note) and decides to rid the world of evil by using the notebook's power. The Death Note is a notebook of death. Literally.
So all these villains and stuff start dying of heart attacks and citizens of Japan, etc. are kind of freaked out and then kind of excited. They call him "Kira" (because they don't know that it is actually Light doing all this) and take his desicions (sp?) as justice. "Kira" becomes justice.
But the police are kind of ticked about it, and so they are trying to find, stop, and kill "Kira". Ironically, Light is the son of the chief person on the Kira case.
The police have this secret weapon. His name is L, and he's pretty much a super-genius (who apparently...likes cake).
I've seen a total of six episodes because my computer is slow and it is on TV once per week (on Saturdays really late). Punk has probably seen more because I told her about it and she decided to watch some of it...
