Damien watched as Takami jumped onto his motorcycle and drove off into the shadows. He watched her until she disappeared. When he was sure she would be safe he turned around and faced the wolf. By this time she had been sitting down and glaring at Damien.

"Alright, now what do you want? You know never to come around when Takami is with me." Damien mumbled reaching a hand out and placing it on the wolf's head. The fur was rough against his hand. I will come around when I please Damien, now leave my fur alone. Damien chuckled and looked up at the sky, dropping his hand to his side. "Just make sure none of the other wolves get a hold of her. If they do I will kill them myself. Got it?" Damien's voice was harsh and serious. Most of the time he was laid back and didn't care about much. The only thing he cared about right now was that girl. She was alone, tortured, and her mind was always in the past. She needs him and he needed her. There was no way was going to let her go. "Tami, what did you come here for anyways?" He asked after he came back to reality.

There is a problem with the pack. They are going nuts. The smell of blood is everywhere. I don't know how much more we can take. The blood smells so sweet and everyone wants to be able to taste the blood, but we can't find where it's coming from. Damien shoot a worried glance at Tami and then relaxed. He knew that Tami could take care of herself along with the pack even when they were in their human forms. But there is something else. A new wolf has been spotted in the area and Sam isn't due for another month so it's not hers. It's probably just a rouge, but it's getting a little too close for comfort.

"Wait, so there is rouge? Should I go find it and kill it, or just leave it be?" Damien's expression changed again to where he was ready to kill something. He didn't like something coming in to his land; after all he was the Alfa of the pack. He was never with the pack because he took care of Takami, but he still didn't like something coming into his land without coming to him first. A low growl came from his chest and Tami looked up and him.


Calm down, I don't think they will be here for long. I think it's just a rouge passing through. This has happened before remember, a long time ago. You didn't react this way then. She was right, he didn't act this way this last time a rouge passed through. Though Takami wasn't around then and since she had his sent on her, wolves would attack her to get control of the land and he wasn't going to let her get hurt. Damien? Are you alright? Tami pawed at Damien's jeans which made his expression relax. She always found a way calm him down. Maybe she was magic.

"Tami, could you look into it further? I need to be with Takami, I can't take any chances right now. My sent is on her and she could be killed. You know what would happen in a fight. She would lose within a minute." He tensed and the killer expression reappeared on his face.

Then get rid of her. Make her leave so you can come back to your pack. Then you won't have to worry about taking care of her. Take her back to her family like a good boy. That's where she should be anyways and she isn't the only on that needs you. Tami said this harshly and Damien shook his head. His eyes changed to a red and he threw a punch at Tami's head, missing be a hair.

"If you ever say something like that again I won't miss." Damien snapped, grabbing Tami's fur and throwing her to the ground. "I am not leaving her. She needs someone who will stay with her. Not someone who will pretend to stay and leave at any sight of weakness." He let her go and his eyes went back to black. He really needed to control his anger, but when it came to Takami he lost control. "That's an order Tami; now get your a** back to the pack."

Tami got up and bowed her head, tail between her legs. Yes sir. She turned and jogged down the alley going back to the pack's hideout. Damien sighed and looked up at the sky closing his eyes and listening to the rain pound against the ground. He had almost forgotten about the rain. His mind was just clouded with thoughts of Takami. He had never felt this way about anyone before and he liked it.

Damien ran a hand threw his hair and opened his eyes, tilting his head down a bit. I better get home fast or Takami might come looking for me. If she was alone with a rouge wolf, who knows how long she would be alive. Not wanting Takami to be alone more then she needed to be, Damien sprinted towards his house. Being a lycan, he could run faster than the average human. He was home within 5 minutes, but it would have taken a normal person at least 30 minutes at a full out run the whole way.

Before he could open the door, it swung open and Takami flung herself into his arms. Damien was all sweaty since he didn't run that fast usually so he pushed her back a bit. He only pushed her back enough so he could see her face. It was nice to back with her that Damien almost forgot about the rouge. He snapped back to reality and looked around. Then she remembered that she was still looking up at him and so she didn't get the wrong idea he smiled and kisses her gently on the lips. Takami seemed to melt when he kissed her more passionately. A smile appeared on Damien's face and he took her hand in his, forcing his lips to separate from hers.

"Let's go inside before we catch a cold." Damien kissed Takami on the cheek and led her inside and out of the rain. Takami followed like a puppy, not taking her eyes off of his back for a second. Damien could feel her gaze, and laughed lightly. He wanted to read her mind and see what she was thinking, but decided not to. Reading minds came with the whole lycan thing, and it came in handy every once in a while, but this wasn't one of those times. I might kill the mood if he did.

While Damien was thinking he didn't realize Takami had gotten closer and let his hand go. When he finally did notice he stopped and turned around a confused look on his face. Takami smiled and wrapped her arms around him and made herself a little taller by standing on the balls of her feet, and kissed him. Damien was shocked, but liked what she was doing so he did the same thing as her: wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back.
