I decided I'd like to have some small sense of pride in my vocabulary and literature I've read, so I'm keeping a list here on Gaia. Obviously it's not going to have everything because I enjoy reading, and I think being 16 I've read a lot, and cannot keep track of it all. I'll keep actual novels here, rather than my rather extensive manga and comic book collection. sweatdrop I suppose you can say some of it reflects my personality, whatever that may be.
Ones I can remember from before starting this list: White Fang, by Jack London. Rainbow Boys, by Alex Sanchez. Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls. Bud, Not Buddy, by Christopher Paul Curtis Don't Know Much about Mythology, by Kenneth C. Davis The Silver Kiss, by Annette Curtis Klause Number the Stars, by Lois Lowry Ordinary People, by Judith Guest The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Currently on my list: Dracula, by Bram Stoker Princes of Ireland, by Edward Rutherford (which I've been meaning to finish) The Vampire Trilogy, by Anne Rice The Sweet Far Thing, by Libba Bray The Divine Comedy, by Dante Alighieri Faust, by Goethe Oh My Goth, by Gena Showalter
2008 Uncle Tom's Cabin, by Harriet Beecher Stowe A Great and Terrible Beauty, by Libba Bray Empress of the World, by Sara Ryan Rebel Angels, by Libba Bray The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams Son of the Mob, by Gordon Korman Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger Lolita, by Vladimir Nabakov Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer Son of the Mob (Hollywood Hustle), by Gordon Korman Nickle and Dimed, by Barbara Ehrenriech The Bread Givers, by Anzia Yezierska
