YESTERDAY...
...I woke up at like 11ish, and I was supposed to get ready to go to the mosque for Nanu's funeral. But we didn't leave until like 2 hours later. xP I had a bagel and some juice. For some reason, I didn't really eat much else at their house the whole time. >< Anyway, the mosque wasn't what I thout it would be like. It certainly wasn't the kind of place you might see in a history textbook. It was jsut a big open space. I don't think I was in the main room though. But there was like nothing there except a desk and some boxes with random stuff in them in the corners. You basically just listen to the dude in the speakers and pray or read the Quran, which is what I was doing most of the time. Well, before that I got to see Nanu's corpse. It wasn't creepy or anything, but it's still hard to describe.
After everyone had prayed, we just went back to my aunt's house where I did absolutely nothing for a really long time. Well actually, my leg's eventually started twitching because I was stretching too much. Since, I didn't ahve much to do, I was doing a lot of stretching on the floor. xD
Oh wait, what am I talking about! We didn't go straight back to my aunt's house. We went to the graveyard first to bury Nanu. For some reason, which I find rahter stupid, the females in our culture aren't allowed to take part in the burial. -___- Not that I aprticularly wanted to, but I would have rather seen it up close at least. Though it's somewhat irrevelant, I msut say, the graveyard is a pretty nice place. ^^
So anyway...then, we went back to my aunt's house where I did nothing. And after a long time of doing nothing, my uncle made me sit on a chair because (did i mention I LIKE TO STAND) I was standing the whole time. So I played some game with Emran that his friend from skool showed him. And then that wasn't so bad, he wasn't half as annoying a** usual for some reason.
So eventually we went home with Zakir, and I got home around seven, so I was just watching tv most of the time. After watching Monk, Buffy brought some food. Birahni! Was gooood. ^^ And then, we watched Psych. =) The ending of Monk was so funny lol when Randy actually got the silver guy to help them. The silver dude has sucha weird job lol, which Randy actually beat him at. xD
So after that I was reading The Tapestry for a while. Max and David got an awersome dorm at their skool. =D And then I went to bed...
AND THEN I WOKE UP TODAY:
So here I am. It took a while to type all of this. Anyway...wonder what I should do now. >< Bored...but I still really don't want to go to NJ!!!
