The Christmas Festival
You decided to take up the offer to go window shopping with Natara. You got your stuff and head out the door. Then you remembered you had no where to live.
" You can leave your stuff at my place until you get some where to stay."
Naruto said. You dropped your stuff off at his house (which wasn't much) and went to the hokage. This time you didn't plan on jumping out any windows. You exspected an angery man waiting for you when you entered, but instead you were greeted by a hug. You were totally confused. you stood there stiff as a board.
" W-What? Youre not mad?"
" Of course not, my child, now what have you come for?"
" Yasu needs a place to stay because she just got out of the hospital."
said Naruto. You didn't know how to ask for that kind of thing so you were glad Naruto asked for you.
" You will have to stay with one of our Jonin, Yasu, i'll assign you to Asami Tsukiko."
" Hmmm, she was the 16 year old Jonin from before."
you thought as the hokage summonded her.
" Yes, Lord Hokage?"
said Asami when she got there.
" Asami, I need you to house Yasu because she has no where else to go. Is there a problem with that?"
" No, sir."
and with that you left Naruto to go with Asami to her house. When you arrived Asami showed you your new room. It had a bed a dresser and a desk. Asami quickly took down a picture from the wall and rushed out of the room.
" What the heck?"
She came back just as quickly as she left.
" Here's some money, you're gonna need it, i'm not home a lot so you're gonna have to use that wisely. I gotta go on a mission now, sorry, see ya!"
She put the money in your hand and left. You left right after her to find Natara. A whie later you finally caught up with Natara. She was with Hinata and another girl.
" Hey, Yasu! Meet my 2 best friends Hinata and Mimi."
" Nice to meet you."
" You ready to go?"
asked Natara. You held up the money and grinned.
" We're going to need kimonos for the festvial."
said Hinata.
" Weird, she doesn't seem to stutter, but Natara did say best friend."
you thought. Natara got scowl on here face that looked just like Sasuke's.
" I'm not dressing up in a frilly kimono just to have even more boys drool over me! I hate dresses and skirts and high-heels and anything pink. This is why I wear a skort. The skirt part comes off so I have shorts."
It took 10 minutes to drag Natara into a kimono store. She glowered as you looked at all the pretty kimonos.
" The festival is in a week, Natara, you have to pick one."
said Mimi trying to convince Natara that kimonos weren't that bad. She wasn't a dress wearing kind of girl either, but she still wanted to look nice.
" Fine."
growled Natara. You looked at a all kimonos trying to decide on which one to buy.
OMG I DON'T HAVE A DATE
You walked out with the others holding a bag of clothes for daily training and a kimono for the festival. You laughed when you saw Naruto being chased by Sasuke's fangirls. Natara laughed too as she tied up her hair and tansformed her body in to Sasuke's.
" Someone's got to save Naruto"
she whispered walking past you. She walked into the middle of the pack of girls in front of Naruto.
" Naruto, you baka, I can't believe your getting beat up by fangirls."
You were amazed at how good she was at acting like Sasuke. You supressed a laugh. Natara turned and faced the crowd of fangirls.
" You girls want to here a secret?"
she half whispered. All the girls leaned in to miss not a word she was going to say. They all noded. Out of the corner of your eye you saw the real Sasuke duck into an apartment window.
" You'll have to find me if you want to know."
she said winking. Then she disappered. The fangirls started searching while out of the shop next door she walked out like she never knew what had happened.
" That was halarious Natara!"
said Mimi.
" How did you immitate his voice so well?"
you asked.
" Being a twin has it's advantages and i've done that so many times that I got use to doing it."
" Hello ladies."
said some one behind you.
" O-Oh Neji, I was j-just about to come h-home."
" Your late Lady Hinata and your father is upset. Lets go Lady Hinata."
You turn to wave good bye to Hinata. When you looked back you saw Natara looking away with a faint blush on her face. She looked like Sasuke trying to hide one.
" I got to go too."
said Mimi leaving. It was just you and Natara now.
" Y-You want to go to the ramen bar?"
she asked, still a little part of her blush lingered on her face.
" Sure."
You walked there in silence. When you got there Naruto sat at the end of the bar slurpping away at what looked like his 10th bowl. You took the seats in the middle. You order your meal as Naruto came running over to Natara. They didn't say anything, but Natara pulled out some money and put it on the counter. Naruto gave her puppy dog eyes. She smirked and hugged him. He ran off to where ever he was going to as she turned back to you.
" Who are you going with to the Festival?"
" I don't know, who ever asks me I guess."
" Can you keep a secret?"
" I think so."
" I need you to know so."
she said, giving you a pleading look.
" Ok I can."
" I really want Neji to take me to the festival, if you could-"
" Drop some hints?"
" Exactly! Oh, but you don't have to."
From the way she blushed you knew she really wanted Neji to take her. You noded and ate your meal.
" Why aren't you eating dinner?"
" I......I'm not hungry."
You saw Sasuke walk in. You noticed that it was really dark out now.
" Hi Sasuke! What brings you here?"
you asked.
" My sister."
he said with a blank face.
" I'm curious as well as to why your not eating."
" Sarimasu (go away) Sasuke."
" Iie (no) Natara, doo shimashita ka (what's wrong)?"
" Nanimo nai (nothing) Sasuke daijoobu desu (I'm fine)."
" No your not!"
yelled Sasuke grabbing her arm. She pulled from his grip.
" I'm going home."
she stomped off into the night. Sasuke flopped down in a seat. He glared at nothing.
" Um.....doo shi-ka-shim-ta ma Sasuke?"
asked. Sasuke half smiled at your butchered sentence.
" It's doo shi-Ma-shI-ta Ka"
" Oh..."
you said.
" Thanks for trying, but please hang up the phone and try again."
you laughed.
" So what's up Sasuke? Why are you having sister problems?"
" Hn...I don't know, she hasn't been eating or sleeping just trains the day down to nothing then falls asleep in the middle of training with Kakashi. He's not very happy about that. I just can't figure out her problem, but I want to help."
" Maybe it's Neji."
you said eating your ramen.
" The Hyuuga girl's cousin? What does he have to do with anything?"
" She likes him and I think she's trying to impress him by training as hard as she can."
you whispered.
" What else did she tell you?"
he asked curiously. You shrugged.
" Nothing you don't know, probably, she just told me how much she hates girly stuff."
" How am I suppose to help her though?"
he slumped in his seat some more.
" Think you could explain a little to your sensi just so he knows she working hard, but you can't really help her much more than that."
Sasuke's eyes lite up. Then out of no where Sasuke kissed you. You sat there shocked. He pulled back shocked as well. He got up and started to walk away then turned around.
" That never happened."
he said glaring. You looked at him ineccently.
" What never happened?"
He walked away smirking.
