Hoping there's time for your grudge to mend
How long 'til time is gashed apart
And made to match my gouged-out heart?

Splintering my misconception
My ill-fated false perception
The predestined twilight that is fate
The end of light which we await

Darkness overcame your heart
The moment you let fly the dart
Now dripping poison burns your eyes
In retribution for your lies

Forever in the dark I kneel
Still hoping that your wounds will heal
Yet knowing that the time I've bought
