Today went pretty well, I think. In the morning, as usual, I couldn't find anyone in that swarm of kids! So I just went to class, and of course, homeroom is boring for me. Anyway, next was my free period. ^_^ I guess it's not such a bad thing to have my free period 1st instead of 9th, I get to have some free time to jsut talk to people, since there's no recess like middle skool. xD So, me, Sharmela, and Oladoyin were waiting for a friend of Sharmela's that she met on myspace, but I think she forgot. So we were out in the cold, instead of the cafeteria for nothing! xD
After that, I had Research Literacy, which was okay. We're doing a biography on a classmate, which is pretty kool. I like that class, it involves a lot of group work.
Next, I had Math. Mr. Eng was boooring. Sera from summer skool was in my class though, and there was this one girl that was like sassing every little thing the teacher said, but it was funny, but being a teacher, he didn't get the funniness.
Then, I had my lunch period, which I thought would be boring, but I met this nice girl there. Linda, she moved from Maryland. =) Sadly, we don't have any similar classes. But we've got lunch. ^_^
I also rtealized that I cut a class by accident on my first day, I hope my bio teacher was kind enough to disregard that because I couldn't read that confusing schedule. xD
So, after lunch, I had Latin. I'm somewhat glad I didn't drop Latin for Japanese. My Latin teacher is pretty kool. And it's my only class with Rahima. I think we're getting assigned seats in Latin tomorrow. Most teachers seem to do it alphabetically. I hope I get to sit with someone I know in there though, which is only Rahima, Alan, and Wafha. =)
Anyway, after Latin, there was Biology. Luckily Tuesday is the only day I have double Bio. xD Plus the periods are only 25 minutes for the first week, so the day ends at 2:22 instead of 3:30. In bio, we just got our assigned seats and lab groups. My lab group is kind of non-talkative except for David and me. Yes, I said, and me. Strange, no?
So after bio, I had Gym. =) It was boring for the most part, all we did was sit there and get the rules in the form of a speech. -___- Luckily Rahima and Michelle are in my section (section 32). So for the most part, I was just sitting there talking to Michelle. Sadly, Linda's in section 34. T___T I have a feeling gym is gonna really suck, cuz they only give you 8 minutes to change in the locker rooms, and then if your late, for whatever reason, without a pass from a teacher, they lock you out. -___- Also, I have to wear shorts. Darn, I don't wanna wear shorts! T___T
So...after gym, there was Global Studies. That went pretty well. My teacher, Mr. McManamon or something (too many n's and m's on his name), is really nice. I won't have the hw tomorrow though because he ran out and I was supposed to see him after class so he could get me one, but I forgot. And when I came back next period he wasn't there, so I asked the only kid there where he might be, and he told me to check the history department, so I did, but they said that he already elft. T__T Luckily, he seems like a really nice teacher, so he'll probably let me do it tomorrow, but if not, I'm screwed. ^_^
And last but not least, there was 9th period. ^_^ That was kind of boring, we didn't do much, but get our assigned seats. Again. I'm next to Hannah though, good thing her last name is Kim. xD Rite next to Khan. And I was kind of worried about my history hw, so I was jsut waiting to leave. Thank god it came on so fast! Too bad my history teacher wasn't there though, hehe. xD Anyway, my english teacher is pretty kool, of all my teachers, I'd say she cracked the best jokes, even they are all corny anyway. xD
After that, I just wen to the bus stop. Sharmela and Oladoyin met me there, but Sharmela's taking the 28 now because the 26 leaves her with a long walk. So me and Oladoyin took the 26, and here I am. ^_^
