It was a crisp, moonlight-filled night and thankfully no one was 'round, because He heard a shreak from the right, it was a very, very horrid sound. He ran as fast as he could in the cold night, but when He got to the scene, it was an awful sight. There was blood all over the once-brown dirt, and a little girl next to the tree, crying. He ran up to Her and hugged Her tightly, then preceded to tell her that She wouldn't be hurt, and that there would be no more people dying. With His arms around Her, He smiled very gently to the girl, making sure that She knew He was good. And then, Her shadow began to rise softly from the floor, and in a ghastly appearance, told the boy: "You.... You are the one I've been waiting for." Tears began to roll from the girl's eyes, showing the boy Her life of sadness and lies. He held Her close to Him, making sure she wasn't alone, and three days later He was found at a bench, encrypting a poem for His Beloved in stone.
****Editor's Note: Unless you read this, you will be wondering "What the hell did Richard write this for. It don't even make sense!" This is the first of a 2-part poem/short story. Part 1 deals with the back-story, and the reason as to why I wrote it like I did... well, even I don't know myself. Above all, I hope that your on the edge of your seat, wondering what He encrypted into the stone, and what it stood for. :p Yes, my very first cliff-hanger. and depending on how this turns out, it may be my last, or it may the first of many to come. With this being said, Enjoy, and the second part will be on here -BY- the end of this week.****
