People tell you that you should follow your heart but in the end all u end up with is a broken heart. I wrote this poem based on something that happend to me recently, but im gald because hes still my best friend!!
The Truth Of My Heart!
Im wandering around in a loveless frail.
I just cant believe your not apart of me now.
your heart could of been the one to lead me out of this lifeless trail.
I thought you would of bailed
But you told me i could not fail.
In a way you broke my heart.
I thought I could never forget that night.
I thought I was going to fall apart.
I blame myself.
I should of known that I could never be with
A guy like you.
I want to stop crying,
and to wake up to find this nothing more but than a dream.
But than again this is reality.
I'll have to hold my head up high.
But never forget this friendship that,
we've obtained.
