Many people loathe monday as much as Garfield does. There is usually a good reason for such things for some. The beginning of another work week, school, the recovery of being lazy on sunday ... *cough* the lame ending for The Sopranos *coughwheezehack* (I hope the movie will patch things up-if there is one that is).
For my international friends, hating monday is a traditional thing that we do here in the U.S. Actually, that's what the people in the states perceive it. Hawaii people see it as another surf forecast.
The way I see it, this is an interesting day. because there are several important things that I look forward to:
1. Apple's WWDC (Wordwide Developer's Conference) which comes on in three and a half hours. As a loyal Apple user, this is a religious moment for me (no blasphemy intended).
2. "Ghost In The Shell: Solid State Society". Cartoon Network dropped the ball in having the opportunity to show the next season of GITS.
3. Digital cable. This is a mixed blessing on its own. Even though it's nice to see channels that I've only heard about until now, the 900+ channel lineup is too much for my tastes. Adding international channels costs more (obviously).
The good part ? "AZN", a network for American Asians. After watching "Kamikaze Girls", I was hooked. Asian cinema rocks !
