The Salesman
I went to school this morning to check in which section I belong to. I found out that the lists weren't final so I have to check on them again. Anyway, when I was on my way home, I saw our Starex(,a van;a recreational vehicle we own) so I ran up to it and yelled "Hi Dad!" hehe, so in short I didn't have to take a tricycle to get home. Before we even got home, we stopped by to eat. I ordered beef wanton chicken noodle soup(yes it was a chinese restaurant). While waiting for our orders to come up, a salesman approached our table and showed us one of his products. It was a massage pillow, he let us try it but we didn't want to buy it (well, we have a lot of experiences towards different products especially ones sold in TV). The salesman left but even before he could go to somewhere else, the men with sando shirts rolled up to the bottom of their ribs exposing their fat bellies called the salesman. The salesman responding to the call, went up to the men's table. Just like what he did to us and to his other customers he presented his product and let the men try it. The massage pillow cost 199 but still the men didn't want to buy it. After one of the men said this, the salesman said rudely (well for me)with a chuckle, "sir, if you didn't call me I could've reached another place by now" . The men responded with a laugh and said "what?you were only a few feet from us!". I think those men didn't realized the salesman's rudeness at all. With no paying customers, the salesman bid the men goodbye and said out loud "Have a nice day sir!Have a nice meal!" and with a whisper he said "I hope you choke!" Good thing, not one of them heard it but me and my dad did. We just talked about it and said "may be that's the reason why he doesn't get paying customers.."
Well, God will do all the judging.
