Frozen tears of the night, Where I lie and cry, Where the sun is gone, And the moon hides.
In my dreams you are there, Standing still, Frozen to the spot Where you left me.
The wind blows, My hair lightly swaying, MY smile small As peace comes along.
Broken still, Unfixable damage, Yet peace is still there, Dimming the pain.
I can see your shadow Outside my door, I know your there, Hesitating to knock.
I won't accept your apology, So you might as well leave, I don't need you, Or do I?
You finally knock, I hesitate to answer, But when I do, I find you there.
You smile, And wipe away my tears, You kiss me Like there was never anything wrong.
I await for the apology, But there is none, You enter and sit on my bed, I wait in the door way.
Finally, I hear your voice, so small and distant, So much like a childs.
Then I remember, You aren't there, You are dead, And I just let in your ghost.
But it wasn't your ghost, It was something better, It was your child, The one you never got to see.
