when kaity woke up, she went directly to the computer and turned it on. she crossed her fingers as she checked her email. there was the email she had been waiting for. she opened it and read: sorry i havent been emailing you for a while, sorry i didnt tell you, i was at camp. i had fun...
feeling a little foolish for being so worked up, she replied: its great you had fun, i just wish you told me...
so, their nonloving relationship went on smoothly for a while. one day at lunch, however, katy noticed that daniel was eyeing her. she blushed and turned away. she felt guilty because she did have a boyfriend, even though she didnt love him. and it was wrong for her to be eyeing other guys, even though he was eyeing her, not vice versa. its nly natural for girls to blush too...
that afternoon at the afterschool hangout kaity watched daniel play videogames with his friend who always stole her and her friends volleyball during a game.
they had been playing the same game for over 30 minutes, so kaity and some friends that had joined her, taylor, kc, and sam, the ugliest dog in the world (that was what taylor called hm) urged them to play something else. since daniel and friend were totally in the "zone" kaity walked up to daniel from behind, and said, not to loudly in daniels ear: play something else.
daniel not realizing who it was, said: go somewhere else, get lost, leave.
kaity did. and she took the flickering flame of love she had left for him with her.

weeks passed. the yearbook signing and the end of the year were coming up. kaity purchased a yearbook the next day, and waited impatiently for yearbook signing that would take place in 2 weeks, and the last day of school the day after. emails from kevin were daily, even a few from a social studies buddy named kenny. he was nice, but short, so there were no akward moments (that would make kaity feel guilty) and kenny wasnt that kind oof guy to her, he was just a friend. yearbook signing day came, and all of the school was outside on the feild. everytime kaity approached one of her friends who daniel was around, (she had decided not to ask daniel to sign her yearrbook) he ran away. or so kaity thought. so, she decided to save him the time and tell him ssomething. she walked up to him inn a way that he couldnt see her and said loudly so he could hear her, and know who she was, and said: you can stop running away form me, im not going to ask you to sign my yearbook. she said these words firmly, and looked directly into his dark brown eyes as she said them.
the next day was boring. she said her goodbyes to firends she would not see again next year. she said goodbye to kenny, (who would be back) and gave her newfound seventh grade guy friend a hug, (cause she knew he liked her) and left the school.
a few weeks after school ended, kevin and kaity broke up.
