In a sudden instant of remembrance i started to search for her videos on YouTube. And then i found this remake of one of her most famous songs. You can view it in my profile's multimedia section.
She was and is a very famous popstar throughout asia. She sang in Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, English and (i'm not that sure about this information) in Thai. Many hits of her are well known even in our generation. And they surely remain as evergreens.
She was also the first one to make chinese poems from the Song- and Tang-Dynasty into lyrics for her songs.
