I lay there in bed staring at the roof
Many faces pass by my eyes
Those who cherish my worthless soul
And a few who have said their goodbyes
I remember a feeling not known anymore
One of compassion and care
But the remnants of my heart blow in the wind
For many pieces it has been teared
Another memory imbued in me
One of a very close friend
But now floats around my foggy mind
A bullet dislodged in her head
I say these things as I breathe in life
and exhale the essence of my core
I then take the knife that calls to me
And let my cold blood spill to the floor

- Yes she did. I was on the phone with her when the gunshot echoed through my ear.

- I've tired a few times to end this life. So, your not alone. I know, that's something you always here. "Your not alone." But you never think that when you are alone. In the poem, it sounds like a friend ended her life or did I misunderstood that part?
