This freeze burn goes beneath my skin,
It chills my bones, and then warms them again.
From cold to hot, and hot to cold,
It freezes the body, but warms the soul.
The heat it burns, my eyes are blurred.
The cold its numb, my speech is slurred.
I speak to you, but no reply.
My mouth isnt moving, and I wondered why.
It comes to this, I break out in a cold sweat,
The brain obeys poorly, and I start to forget.
The hot I can't bare, the cold so stern.
I thought I was love struck, but this is only freeze burn.
