• Dinosaur Run

If you run with a dinosaur,
    Your thoughts begin to soar.
    The dinosaurs aren’t monsters,
They’re your best friends and more!

The Pterosaur takes you under his wing
    Raptors help hunt anything
    Triceratops will play with you
The T-Rex teaches you the ways of a king

We know you’ll stay for a while
    And go mile after mile
On the back of a brontosaurus
But soon you’ll think, and say with a smile

    “This has been really fun
    But I really must run
    Back home to my family”
    Finally saying you’re done

The dinosaurs will beg you to stay
To run and laugh and jump and play.
“I must go home to my family”
I know that’s what you will say!

When you insist you must come home,
The dinosaurs all will whine and moan.
“Do you really, truly have to go?”
    The baby-saurs will groan.

You’ll say “Yes, it’s for the best.”
The pterosaur flies you above the rest.
You wave goodbye, while they all sigh
And send their babies back to the nest.

Soon you will wake up safe in your bed,
And tell us this story you saw in your head.
We’ll tell how nice a dream it seems to be,
And how there should be nothing to dread!
