In darkened woods, all lacquered black,
A single thought, “Never look back.”
It echoed through an angered mind,
Which answers sought, but none did find.
The foliage of the shadowed trees
Swayed in a nonexistent breeze.
As though a wall of water wove
Throughout the deep, forbidden grove
In solitude, pure peace was sought
The price was paid, the wares were bought.
A gentle sigh, the calm embrace
Of nothingness in time and space.

- Hmmm I love how it flowed. Its quite insightful I take it as someone lost and mad so they go out into the woods to cool off and get lost in their own little world. 5/5 I love it.

Meh, it's ok, I guess.
Your rhyme looks/sounds a little forced though. - Report As Spam
