Those are the three things my relatives were talking about today. We went to Concord again to visit grandparents. Since my middle sister and I are still in high school, one of our second cousins asked us if we knew what college or major we wanted. He seemed surprise that we even had the slightest idea of what we wanted to do. Our uncles joined in telling us of what happened to them.
One of my uncles, Uncle Lloyd told us that he changes jobs about every three years, even though they were in the same field-ish. My great uncle, Uncle Bob talked about his job and his wife's job. They're both very sucessful which is probably why they live in the rich part of San Francisco. Uncle Lloyd kept telling us, "it's not what college you go to, it's the breaks that you get. You could either work your way up the hard way- by actually doing the work- or you can 'kiss a**.'"
They talked about jobs for a really, really long time. After a while, I zoned out because they were repeating themselves. Eventually, when I finally snapped out of it, they were on the subject of taxes. I must laugh at them though, none of them have started.
