Battered and broken I still trudge on, I don't weep any longer for all my tears are gone. In vain I search but yet do not find, A thought to replace her in my mind. I will keep going and try to hold on, to my sanity that is here, But there will always be that fear, That I will be alone, And have no one to hold dear.
