We have another cat now. Sort of. She's not coming with us anywhere when we move, but for now, she's pretty much become part of the family.
My dad went outside last night to check on the barbeque, and he heard something run into these wind chimes he has hanging off the side of the grill (for whatever reason). My dad, of course, went back in for his gun and flashlight, thinking it was some wild animal.
He shined the light around the back yard, and spotted a pretty black cat with bright yellow eyes. His plan was to shoot her, until she happily squeaked at him. Then he went all softie on her.
She's about the size Neko was, and solid black. And she squeaks like Kilala. She's skittish, but sweet as can be.
So, we're putting food out for her now. And we'll let the people moving in know that she's here. They're cat people too, so they'll probably let her stick around.
Now... she just needs a name.
=o
