I was walking to the Kitchen when my mom stopped me in the living room.
"Uh. Julie could I talk to you?"
"Yeah, okay."
"Somebody from the Havurah told me that she saw Alan's mom come to services crying."
"What?"
"Alan's mom cried in services... Do you know if anything happened to Alan?"
-shakes head- "Why would I?"
"I don't know. Sandy asked her son and he said he knew Alan was a cutter. It's the un-even hair."
"Huh?"
"You know how Alan's hair is covering half his face?"
"Yeah. But I didn't know that had to do with cutters. Not to be like... cliqueish but it's considered... like..."
"Goth?"
"Yeah."
"You think Alan cut himself?"
"Duh!"
"To bleed himself to death, I mean."
-pause- "Well... I don't think Alan would... I... Don't know. But why would she come to services if her son was in the hospital?"
"Maybe he just got out and she needs to pray to god."
"If I had a son that almost committed suicide I wouldn't leave them alone."
I'm really worried.
I still can't imagine Alan cutting himself....
It's obviously got something to do with him, so no use...
-sigh-
I got to go.
My mom is leaving for Washington today.
God help me.
I'm going to starve to death.
