I'm just like shocked... almost horrified..
Last night there was a gecko in our house and Leila was sleeping over.
"Leila! Come here, there's a lizard in the bathroom."
"What?"
"There's a lizard in the bathroom!"
-she walks in- "Ew. It's ugly."
"I think it's cute..."
-she bends down- "Close the door."
-closes the door-
-she gets toilet paper and catches it- "Should I flush it down the toilet?"
"No! It'll drown."
-reaches for the lid-
-puts hand on it-
"Okay, fine, I'll squish it's brains."
"What?! No!"
-She starts squeezing the tissue-
"Just put it in the bathtub."
"Too late it's already dead."
...
Am I wrong to be mad? I'm sorry but I don't kill lizards or like to see lizards be killed. She later said basically that killing bugs and lizards was about the same. I just replied saying that I considered bugs as pests and lizards as animals. There was a difference. And besides... The only bug I kill by myself are mosquitoes....
But... It doesn't matter now. The lizard is dead, nothing will change that.
I'm still a bit shocked.
I dreamt about my dream house being covered in dead lizards... D;
