I have a Assignment to do in Psychology (if I havent explained yet that im taking a online class, woop-de-do) and that is create a journal entry. I first saw this and started laughing, essayist assignment ever. I thought "hey, why not post it in my real journal?" So thats what im doing. Here's there requirements:
Write a one page, double-spaced journal entry giving your thoughts on all of the following writing prompts. There is no right or no wrong answer, as these are your opinions. Be sure to use proper grammar, spelling, and capitalization and be candid about your thoughts.
It is all about your friends…
In three to four sentences, discuss if you belong to a group or a clique? If so, which one? If not, why? In two to four sentences, report on whether or not you believe you have entered into Kohlberg’s post-conventional thinking? If so, give an example. If not, give an example. In Erikson’s stage of Identity versus role confusion, do you believe you have your "role" or are you still searching? Explain your answer in two to four sentences. In two to five sentences, explain what friendship means to you. Include what you can gain from having a friend. In two to five sentences, discuss the characteristics a person must possess in order for you to be their friend? In two to four sentences report on whom you turn to when you have a problem? Why? This is ganna be easy. It's easy for me to express what im thinking in a format like this. =)
6/22/2012 I was really excited today when I saw the 3.03 Psychology Assignment, writing a journal entry! I have to answer a few questions about my friends. First one: "In three to four sentences, discuss if you belong to a group or a clique? If so, which one? If not, why?" I dont really think I belong to any group. I tend to call me and my friends the crazy-anime-loving group though, if thats what the questions asking. If I dont belong to a group, it has to be the reason that I'm somewhat diffrent from everyone and can deal with things myself, I prefer it that way. Ok, question two: "In two to four sentences, report on whether or not you believe you have entered into Kohlberg’s post-conventional thinking? If so, give an example. If not, give an example" I think I actually have. Just because something is right or wrong dosent mean anything. Say my friend needed help cheating on a test. If I thought she really needed the help, I would help her. If I felt cheating was wrong, I'd tell her she shouldnt be cheating (of course I'd go with the 2nd option!) Question three now: "In Erikson’s stage of Identity versus role confusion, do you believe you have your "role" or are you still searching? Explain your answer in two to four sentences." I belive I am still searching. There's alot of things I still want to try, carrer's I still have to think about. I change what I want to do on a daily basis. Question four: "In two to five sentences, explain what friendship means to you. Include what you can gain from having a friend." Friendship means having somewon you can trust, and create great memories with. You can gain alot from having a friend. I always feel more confident when I'm with my best friend. Almost done, question five: "In two to five sentences, discuss the characteristics a person must possess in order for you to be their friend?" Hm... It depends. I dont want to hang out with anyone mean. I stay away from the popular kids. I just want a friend that will be there for me when something goes wrong. Last question! Question six: "In two to four sentences report on whom you turn to when you have a problem? Why?" I dont have much problems yet. If I ever needed to turn to somewon, It would be my best friend Caitlin. She would listen and help me threw it. =) Well, I'm done typing now. Hope you enjoyed reading my answers!
Yeah.. I wrote that. Just to clarify, my two best friends are Caitlin and Patrick, I'd go to both of them if anything ever happened.
