I step outside into the cold night air
With the wind ruffling my dress
And the moonlight shining in my eyes
I walk my usual lonely road.
As I am walking I think to myself
Who knows where this path may lead?
But I walk this path anyway
In hopes of finding a dream.
At last I come across a town
Where peace and joy are valued.
I walk and admire this town,
I am speechless, and I smile.
But a tragedy occurs
and I am forced to flee this town.
I run and run and run to a safe place,
Then I cry.
I walk my lonely road again
The dreams I had back have shattered.
So I continue to walk this lonely walk
and hopefully I will come to a place for me.
With the wind ruffling my dress
And the moonlight shining in my eyes
I walk my usual lonely road.
As I am walking I think to myself
Who knows where this path may lead?
But I walk this path anyway
In hopes of finding a dream.
At last I come across a town
Where peace and joy are valued.
I walk and admire this town,
I am speechless, and I smile.
But a tragedy occurs
and I am forced to flee this town.
I run and run and run to a safe place,
Then I cry.
I walk my lonely road again
The dreams I had back have shattered.
So I continue to walk this lonely walk
and hopefully I will come to a place for me.
