this is the first chapter of a fanfiction i wrote so enjoy
Alexis kept running. She didn’t know what was chasing her but it seemed familiar like she had read about it before. She was about to turn the corner when she tripped over a crack in the sidewalk. She thought she was gonna die but she tilted her head and saw a guy about her age standing where the creature was with an elegant sword in his hand. He was wearing a black robe with a white sash. “Oh my god you’re a soul reaper!!” she shouted. “you can see me?” the soul reaper asked. “ yes you’re a soul reaper aren’t you?” “you can see me, that means you have the sight!” he exclaimed. She asked perplexed. “what’s the sight?” “come back to my house and I’ll explain everything.” He said and walked around the corner then came back wearing jeans and and black shirt. “sorry had to get back in my body.” He said. “hey you’ve got three tatoos on your arm.” She pointed “oh yeah when I touch the skull I can turn into a soul reaper and the roses are my zanpacto.” He explained. “now lets get moving before more of those hollows show up.” He grabbed her hand and dragged her all the way to Soho to where his loft is. “we’ll be safe here, I have a spiritual barrier put up to keep the hollows away.” He said noticing the worried look on the girl’s face. ‘ok why don’t I start from the beginning, it all happened in lousiania when a kid used black magic to try to become an arrancar but he turned all the dead bodies in the cemetary into hollows and arrancars.” He paused to catch his breath. “so Tite Kubo and 3 other manga artists formed an organizattion called the society, and when the explosion happened anybody who was obsessed with bleach became a soul reaper, I’m a lead captain in charge of the state of new york there are at least 200 soul reapers in new york state and 50 in nyc.” He said exsaperated. “my name is Andy Waine I’m sorry I didn’t tell you that when we met but I was trying to get you to safety first, you see people like you who have the sight but aren’t soul reapers are like food for hollows.” “Umm my name is Alexis Cline and your telling me that I’m a target for hungry monsters?” Alexis said curiously. “not anymore you won’t your gonna stay in the girl’s bunk upstairs until tommorrow then I’m taking you to the society’s parlor so you can be a reaper too. Now get some sleep you’ll need it for tommorrow.”
He leads her upstairs and shows her the guest room where Alexis goes to sleep.
