look upon the setting sun
look upon once a time
read what has been unwritten
wish upon a star for something more
pray for the anxiety to stop creeping
keep the feelings inside keep them stored
he tries to outrun his feeling
knowing they will catch up to him someday
not paying attetion to what he has been told
wanting to for this numbness to stay
taking many forms, as many masks as possible
hiding his wings so he wont get caught
ignoring the pain that seemed to be unbearable
able to forgive but never to forget
now he is heading bac k to the darkness
he knows its the only that been there all along
keep in mind that even demons were angels once
the once caught in between are known as the fallen
but in mind and heart he still holds his promise
to protect every heart trusted to him with his last breath
because promises are the only things he has left
