Ch. 1
Out With The Old
If Serenity was bored, it was usually a bad thing.
if she was bored, she would do incredibly stoopid stuff. she especially liked to burn things. today she took her older sister Linda's stuffed rabbit and watched it burn in the barbeque while her friend Cherona watched. "i think you went to far with the boredom this time," Cherona commented. Serenity thought about this for a few seconds. she sighed. "i think you're right. i should burn some of my stuff." Serinity turned and stode back into her family's house, which was mostly glass walls. she didn't particularly like this feature, because it meant no privacy. she already discovered 3 pervs spying on her. she solved that problem by threatening them with her secret flamethrower.
After rummaging around her room with a cardboard box, she came back out with some yaoi (the suckish ones ONLY; she cherished the rest of her collection), some old stuffed animals, and other useless junk. she walked back out to the barbeque where the simmering remains of Mr.Hoppy laid. "rest in pieces Mr.Hoppy," Cher and Serene said at the same time. Cher surveyed the box. "whats all this?" Serenes hazel eyes glimmered as she ran a hand through her long, wavy brown hair. Cher stared back with chocolate brown eyes.
"Weeeeeeell, i think it's time to clean up. out with the old, as they say." Serene mumbled.
Cher wasn't fooled. "What do you have planned?"'
Serene pursed her lips. how could she tell her best friend that she wanted to leave her small town of Ojai to explore bigger, better, and more exciting places? though she loved her to death, she didn't want Cher to go where she was. Cher was too fragile for them, no matter how strong she said she was.
"I-i-i-i............ i'm leaving Cher. after graduation. by myself. no questions asked."
"what about college?"
"i'll take something online."
they stared at the extemely lame yaoi burning with Mr.Hoppy.
graduation was in a few weeks. fast as the years went by, it was boring. at least, it was in Serenity's eyes. she yearned for excitement that lingered just beyond the city limits....................
"and i take it your going to abandon me here?" Cher gave her puppy eyes. "Katie can take care of you while i'm gone." Katie was another close friend. "and you can still call me and email me. we can also meet on Gaia." Serene gave her a gentle smile. "but i want to do something special before i go."
Cherona's eyes lit up. "What is it?"
"I want you to shred up this town with me. nothing that will get us in serious trouble with the police, more like pranks."

"why am i olny getting silence from you?" Serene demanded.
"I'M thinking about it..............and i'm in."
serenity smiled. "Excelent."
4 weeks later, 1 week after graduation and leaving
Serena drove with complete focus. she was hanging around arizona for a while in an apartment she rented. a night club was around here somewhere, and she was scanning the streets for it. her red strapless nylon leather dress was perfect clubbing attire.
at last, she spied out the club. she parked 1 block away from it, then strode up to the entrance. she pulled out her fake i.d. and flashed it in front of the bouncer's face. completely fooled, her stamped her hand with a purple X and let her through, into the Haven.
as she strode over to the bar, she spied out a few cute guys checking her out. she sat down and ordered a virgin peach and lime explosion off the menu. she sipped as she surveyed the darkened room. there were lots of young gothic people in there. many had black hair, but one guy had pure white hair, with a scar running down his face. but she thought nothing of the scar.
cool hair, she thought. he was hanging out in the corner with a small black haired girl dressed in gothic lolita and another girl in a tight black dress with short brown hair. deciding it was time to socialize, Serena set her drink down and walked over to the laughing threesome. after introducing herself, the white haired guy introduced himself and Fonce, and the black haired girl as Blaze ("but that's just my spy name" she winked.). but before she could learn the brown haired girl's name, her attention was pulled away by a movement in the corner of her eye. she turned........... and saw the most beautiful creature she had ever seen.
