Omg, I'm making another journal entry! I haven't done something like this since I lost interest in LiveJournal a long time ago.
Hm, what to talk about? Well, the hot topic seems to be the Gaia economy, and random item generators. I hate the RIGs. I hate that I allowed myself to be duped into buying a Famestar bundle pack and only got 50k gold out of those damn things. I hate how the popular/good items from the RIGs are at such exorbitant prices.
It's really ridiculous how expensive the Mercury's Moon and Warmth of Apolo are. I'd really love to have either of those items. Or the Buttercream Rose. At least the sassy Lila Mermaid came to a reasonable price, (compared to her blue sister).
I've said in various threads many times that I would be more than willing to shell out Gaia Cash for items like a Mercury's Moon straight out. But I will NEVER buy a RIG again.
I was getting kind of worked up about how I'll never be able (or willing) to afford a Mercury's Moon or Warmth of Apolo or Lanzer Doll. I was getting worked up because I hated playing the gambling item game and getting burned, and I felt like that was the only way I would be able to get one.
And then, I decided I would never again buy a RIG, for gold or cash, again. I would wait and see if prices for the items I want came down, and if they didn't ... oh well. After this decision, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
Well, Gaia, if you want my cash, you're not going to get it by making RIGs. When was the last time we actually had a regular item update in the Cash Shop? I can't even remember.
