Okay boys and girls, it appears to be that time again. Time for me to leave a little journal entry! First off, it's like 10 to 5 in the morning and I really can't seem to sleep. So I'm doing what I can to get rid of my restlessness. Let's recap my week...
My week really hasn't been all too lucky. Lemme explain:
Monday: I get up around my normal time (which is usually about 30 minutes later than I expect). I shower and I get out to find that unless I want to hurry and possibly forget a billion things, I would miss my bus (not to mention if I rushed, I'd end up missing it anyways). So I decided to wait for the next one, which would have gotten me to work 5 minutes late. I go outside to catch my bus and low-and-behold, it passes my stop and goes down the street. Being about 50 yards away form it, I attempt to run to the next stop and catch it before it get's away. So I peel around the corner, out of the back lane about just onto the sidewalk and I step in a puddle of mud. Having absolutely no traction, I fall and I get covered in mud. My entire right leg, right bum-cheek and some of foot get's covered, aswell as my coat, bag and lanyard.
Over all, I was just over an hour late for work.
Also, I hang out with my ex ever week and this day we got into a bit of a fight. I felt like she was being a little stuck up about the choices I've made in my life and I got offended. We ended up talking for a really long time before I went to bed.
Tuesday: I'm making supper for myself after work. My mother informs me that there are chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce aswell as perogies in the fridge. So I warm up everything, including the sauce and am about to serve myself. As I pull the sauce out of the microwave, I start towards the kitchen to prepare my feast. Slip goes the cup of sauce. Splat goes the sauce.
Now, we're not talking your average spill. This sauce literally jumped 6 feet out of the cup and literally splatted me in the face. It also went all over the floor, all over the dinning room carpet, the oven, the wall, all over my pants (again) and my sweater. The cat tasted it and found the taste of vinegar to be a but much for him.
Wednesday: Afterwork, I goto my girlfriends for supper. I pull a small bottle of cola out of her mini fridge and I open it. Cola asplodes all over me and get my jeans wet (I have never changed my pants so much in a single week, in my life!)
Also, we have a snow fall that lasted well over 24 hours and so I was stuck at her house for the evening as my mother was unable to come pick me up (and like heck I'm going home when I can spend the night with my dear.)
Thursday: I made plans to goto a friend's house. His girlfriend got off work before we did (we all work at the same place) so she was gonna go home, get the car and few things and come back in an hours time to pick us up. Well, because of the snow fall, her car was stuck. So at about 6:30 (exactly 1 hour and 27 minutes after she left) we call her and find out she's stuck, so we begin the 30 minute trek to her home to get her un-stuck. The weather was not nice that day and I had a killer cramp in my right side about 60% of the way there. Luckily, a pizza delivery guy saw her struggling and decided to help, so she intercepted our trek about 2/3rds of the way there.
Also, my ex continued the saga of Monday by sending me an email about how she felt. I took a few days and responded to her tonight. My message is basically we're nothing more than friends and I want to keep it that way. Hope she understands.
Friday: Actually, all was fine on Friday. Desiree and I went to see The Haunting In Connecticut. Good movie. Spooky as hell. Worth the watch. 10/10.
EDIT: I just remembered that actually, I lost my debit card while shopping with a few friends. So I was stuck using my credit card for the remainder of the weekend and have to run to the bank today for a new card.
Saturday: It was Desirees' mothers birthday on Thursday (or maybe Tuesday...?), so she made reservations at a restraunt so we'd all go out for dinner. We were expecting to be home about 9:30 - 10:00.
Well, when old people get together and drink, things don't ever go according to plan. Not even for the people who are controlling the situation.
We ended up leaving the restraunt at 10:00 and Dez' uncle was supposed to drive a few people (including her mother) home and then drop us off at my place (as their home is in the neibourhood). Well, we get to her mom's house and mothers friend invites the others in for a beer. Which was not his place to do so. So her mother was pissed off as she was supposed to meet her friends elsewhere and now she was forced to hold off on those plans for longer. We finally got to my house at 11:30ish, only because her dad came and picked us up at 11:00.
The worst part of this? I had a migraine headache, which started around 1:30 (while I was at work). It finally went away mid afternoon on Sunday.
Sunday: Lot's of Resident Evil 4. Very fun.
Monday: Well, I'm resltess, I can't sleep and I'm recapping the wonderfulness of my week. Woot.
So that's the last 7 days in the life of me. Obviously lot's of details were spared. I just kind of talked about the more noteable things. Hope you enjoyed reading (if there's even anyone reading this. xD)
Peace!!

EDIT: I just wanted to add that the Monday I typed this did not go so well, either. Everything went fine at the bank and I got a new debit card. Unfortunatly, I was already 10 minutes late for work when I got the card. So I ran to the bus stop to catch the bus to work. I ran across a shopping mall parking lot (probably about the length of a football field). I ran as fast as I could because I saw a bus waiting and feared I would miss my bus if I was slow about it.
Well, I live In Winnipeg, which is the capital city for the central Canadian province of Manitoba (for those who don't know). Our winters are usually quite harsh and don't usually go away until mid-April (no exception this year). We had a few days of good weather, enough to melt a lot of snow, then cold weather, enough to make a lot of black ice patches.
As I run for the bus, I slip on a patch of ice and hit the pavement hard. My cell phone, which was in my hand, flew several feet in the air and landed underneath the bus. I scrapped the s**t out of my knee too. So I get my phone and hop on the bus. I sit for 5 minutes and the bus takes off. Then it turns to the left. Work is to the right.
Realising I took the wrong bus, I quickly hop off the bus and run back to the bus stop and finally catch my right bus. I think I was close to an hour late that day.
So that's my little update to that. All else has been fine since then. I'm just happy my little cursed moment is over and done with and life is normal again.
