Once, quite some time ago I went under the name of Yami. Most knew me as the Yami-chan Kitty (a name I wore proudly as proof there were people in the world who liked me for me). Yami was one ofmy favorite roleplaying characters and is very dear to my heart even today, I only use her name in very special cases.
Yami was a half fox demon half human with remarkable power (that she was often to scared to use). She had excellent control over fox fire, an was an excellent healer, and a shockingly strong telepath. She'd been born to a human father and a demon mother. The father and mother were allowed to live for some time to see if the daughter she gave birth too could be helped. When it was decided that they couldn't control the daughter, who her mother and father had named Hikari the parents were executed and Hikari's brother Kage (a full blooded demon) was given to the care of the chief of the tribe at the time. Before their execution the two parents took their daughter to the woods and hid her there where they thought she'd be safe. They promised to come back for her in a few days, but never did.
Not so long later Hikari was found by a human, Eclipse, who dealt in the trading of demons as slaves. He ended up choosing to keep her for himself and renamed her 'Yami'. Until she was seventeen years old Yami stayed with Eclipse, being raised and trained by him. She learned his special alphabet, devised just for her, developed an appetite that allowed her to only survive on apples and she swiftly fell in love with her keeper. And there was reason to suspect that Eclipse loved her too - though it could not be proven. When a rebellion occurred he took Yami back to the forest he found her in and bound her soul to it, making it a cage, and promised he'd be back when the rebellion was over. Eclipse died in the battle, which Yami never really found out but suspected had occurred.
She began to wander the forest as a lonely soul with a broken heart, and strength to fight the toughest of foes if she ever really tried and healing gifts that could bring someone back from the brink of death. She wanders looking for someone to love her....someone to care that such a creature like her exists.
I wish I could find her a home.
The twins are my second favorite roleplaying characters by far. (Of course Yami takes first for various reasons.) Iris and Daisy the guardians of life and death with the ability to resurrect the dead; ever looking for their master so they can have a home once more.
Both Iris and Daisy were once alive, twin sisters living in a relatively happy household until their Father had a mental snap. He became abusive in all senses of the word, and the two sixteen year old girls living in the Victorian era saw horrors girls of their status should have never seen. Iris had always been the stronger of the two where as Daisy was pure and innocent as could possibly be. Both were shattered by their experiences and before their seventeenth birthday were brutally murdered by their Father when Iris had tried to stop him from laying hands upon Daisy.
However the two girls, unable to move on, were granted the guardianship powers since they were perfect candidates. Daisy became the guardian of life, with the power to help all things sickly from people, to animals, to plant and other such objects. Even after all the horrors she'd seen she remained pure and innocent. She's a good hearted person, but often to quick to trust everyone she meets and desperately wishes for their new keeper to help guide them in the use of their powers. Iris is cold; especially to strangers. She comes on a bit strong and would do anything to protect her sister from being hurt ever again. Iris was given guardianship over death and shepherds lost souls to their final resting place.
Together the girls have the ability to bring the dead back to life, at a price though. However they require a keeper to preform the ritual ceremony since there are spells that must be read by a trusted third party.
I wish I could find someone to use these characters with. I mean I have all the characters I use with John and I love those roleplays as much as I loved the old ones I was in. But these three characters need....I can't put my finger on it.
The four white walls of my dollhouse seem closer than usual. I think though that might just be this doll's perception of it all.
I hate being lonely.
Would you help a doll?
